COLD Disbands Once Again
November 18, 2006After announcing the band's break-up in February 2006 and then apparently having a change of heart in April, COLD frontman Scooter Ward has once again announced the group's decision to disband. In a posting on the COLD MySpace page, Ward writes, "We had a great career and played together for over 20 years. We thank the COLD Army for all their support and love throughout our span and the members of COLD are grateful for the music we made and the accomplishements we have. We were blessed to make music and let it be heard. Thank you all for your love and support and check out my new project WHEN NOVEMBER FALLS."
Scooter Ward was slated to enter the studio on November 1 to begin recording the debut album from WHEN NOVEMBER FALLS, tentatively titled "The Series of Emotion". A March 2007 release is expected. In the meantime, you can check out demo versions of the songs "Symphony for a Mad World" and "Let the Rain Begin" at the WHEN NOVEMBER FALLSMySpace page.
COLD's fourth album, "A Different Kind Of Pain", was released in August 2005 via Atlantic Records.
