COLDWORKER: In Writing Mode

February 23, 2007

COLDWORKER, the Örebro, Sweden-based band consisting of current and former/current members of such bands as NASUM, RELENTLESS, CARNAL GRIEF, RUIN and PHOBOS, has issued the following update:

"COLDWORKER is heading to Paris, France March 27 to play at the Grind Sessions festival at Le Batofar together with GADGET, LENG TCH'E and BLOCKHEADS. Now that's a lot of grind for the money!

"We can also inform you at this point that a summer tour with two other (bigger) bands are 'under construction' right now. Full information to come as soon as possible.

"We are also working on getting a Stockholm show put up together with another Swedish band in the same style as COLDWORKER. Hopefully it will work out and we'll post info about it then.

"Other than that, COLDWORKER are in 'writing mode,' as they say, and starting next week we will concentrate 100% on new stuff. We have already fooled around with some new ideas for a while but now we will really work on the songs. Hopefully we will be able to demo 4-5 songs in March/April, but you could more or less count on a rehearsal sample before that."

An e-card for COLDWORKER's debut album, "The Contaminated Void", is available at this location.

"The Contaminated Void" was recorded by the band last June and mixed by Dan Swanö. The CD was issued in the U.S. on January 23 via Relapse Records.
