"Dystopia", the latest album from BENEATH THE MASSACRE, sold nearly 1,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD debuted at position No. 22 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
Recorded again with St-Amand (DESPISED ICON, ION DISSONANCE, NEURAXIS) and featuring artwork from Felix Rancourt, "Dystopia" is the follow-up to 2007's "Mechanics of Dysfunction", which was supported by tours with NECROPHAGIST, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD and ION DISSONANCE.
