DAVE LOMBARDO's PHILM: New Performance Footage, Photos Available
April 20, 2010Video footage of the Los Angeles-based experimental post-hardcore triumvirate PHILM — featuring drummer Dave Lombardo (SLAYER),guitarist/vocalist Gerry Nestler (CIVIL DEFIANCE),and bassist Pancho Tomaselli (WAR) — performing a cover version of the BLACK SABBATH classic "Symptom Of The Universe" on April 19, 2010 at Troubadour in West Hollywood, California can be viewed below. PHILM recently entered the studio to record a seven-inch single for release via the 2010 Volcom Entertainment's Vinyl Club. The tracks were helmed by noted U.K. producer Piers Baron, who earlier worked with Lombardo and MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister on their cover of the BEN E. KING classic "Stand By Me" for Flip Skateboards' 2009 "Extremely Sorry" movie soundtrack.
