June 9, 2009

Oslo, Norway-based metallers DEAD TROOPER are hard at work on their debut album at Strand Studios.

A brand new song, "No More Singing", which will appear on the upcoming CD, is available for streaming on the group's MySpace page.

DEAD TROOPER's new lineup — featuring the band's brand new rhythm section of Jon-Erik Bokn (ZEROZONIC) on drums and Tor R. Stavenes (1349) on bass — will make its live debut on June 12 at Musikkflekken in Sandvika, Norway.

DEAD TROOPER's "Spiritual Funeral" EP was recorded at Marek Poknes studios during December 2004-January 2005 and was previously described by the band as "a mix of SLAYER and old SEPULTURA, with death metal influences."
