DEE SNIDER's 'Growing Up Twisted' Goes Mobile

August 20, 2010

The reality series "Growing Up Twisted", which premiered on A&E late last month and features TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider, his wife and four kids, will close with a bang during its season finale on Tuesday, August 24. But don't worry — just because the season's over doesn't mean the show is.

The Snider family will host a one-two punch launch event on Saturday, August 21 for the hottest new mobile app around: A3 – the All Access App. For fans, this means that the show will keep on going until the next season of "Growing Up Twisted". For Dee and his family, it means that they'll be the first to launch their own celebrity A3 app, providing fans with true behind-the-scenes and direct access like never before! Don't let A&E dictate what you see, everything the family sends goes directly to your phone!

Here's more:

* First off — the Snider family will be in Sniderville, Ohio. That's right… Sniderville! But don't look for it on any map. The town of Cridersville, Ohio is changing its name for one day in honor of Dee and his family, who — in addition to hosting the A3 launch — will participate in the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies charity event. The ride starts in Lima, Ohio and will end in Snidersville on Saturday, August 21.

* Secondly — the Snider family mobile launch event will mark the unveiling of A3, the All Access App. A3 is a brand new app for the iPhone, Android and Blackberry that provides fans with unprecedented access to their favorite celebrities with content not available anywhere else! A3 is fully customizable, enabling artists like Dee to create a personalized app that let's them easily broadcast their pics, audio, video, texts and more directly to their A3 app subscribers. The Sniders' "A3 Twisted" will be available for purchase in the iTunes store in September — and Dee and his family will broadcast their daily updates directly to A3 Twisted subscribers.

To check out a free web-based taste of "A3 Twisted" visit the A3 site event.allaccessapp.com this Saturday and put in the phrase "IWANNAROCK." You'll get true behind-the-scenes, direct access to the family at the event! Plus you will be able to sign up for updates on when A3 Twisted is available at the iTunes store.

A3, the All Access App, has partnered with more than 100 celebrities — ranging from TV personalities, comedians, rock stars, reality stars and more — who will launch their own personalized A3 apps for the iTunes store. Each week new apps will hit in the store, so fans can follow all of their favorites. The app is free, but for the full access to pics, audio, video, as well as contests and meet-and-greet events, the cost is only $1.99 a month. A3 apps will allow you a true through-the-looking-glass experience — imagine watching your favorite singer walk out on stage in Sweden the night it happens, or hearing your favorite comedian working out a new joke before he goes on, or getting advice from your favorite reality stars on clothing, make-up and more. A3 brings it to you, featuring content not available anywhere else.
