DEEDS OF FLESH: 'Drums Are Finished' For New Album

December 28, 2007

Southern California death metallers DEEDS OF FLESH entered the studio in early November to begin recording their new album, "Of What's to Come", tentatively due late spring via Unique Leader Records.

Commented the band: "Drums are finished and they turned out killer!! With help from the recording talents of Colin Davis from VILE. Tracking the drums went smooth and we achieved some great tones! Erik [Lindmark] and Sean [Southern] have been working dilligently with the guitar writing, and they will not disappoint. Some of the best guitar work to date from DEEDS will be displayed on this album.

"We've received art comps from Raymond Swanland and they are mind-blowing in their detail and concept!"

DEEDS OF FLESH previously stated that the new CD would be "over-the-top technical" and would include a re-recorded version of "Infecting Them With Falsehood" from 1998's "Inbreeding the Anthropophagi".

DEEDS OF FLESH's latest album, "Crown of Souls", was released in 2005 via Unique Leader.
