DEF LEPPARD Bassist Auctions Clothes For Charity; Audio Interview Available
June 24, 2008Tony Belshaw of South Yorkshire, England's The Star reports that DEF LEPPARD bassist Rick Savage has raised more than 6,000 (approximately $11,830) for two Sheffield charities by selling off his cast-off clothes.
Savage handed over two envelopes, each containing four thousand euros, to representatives of Sheffield Children's Hospital and Cash for Kids, the charity formerly known as Help A Hallam Child.
The donation came after Rick auctioned his stage clothes from the band's latest US tour.
