September 23, 2009

DEF LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen and FOZZY singer Chris Jericho (of WWE wrestling fame) have been added to the list of guest musicians appearing on Christian rockers LIBERTY N' JUSTICE's ninth studio album and fifth "all-star" project, "Light It Up" (formerly "The Cigar Chronicles"). They will both appear in the song "Best Time We Never Had", which was co-written by Steve Brown of TRIXTER (who also produced the track) and Justin Murr.

LIBERTY N' JUSTICE mainman Justin Murr commented: "It is a huge honor to have these two guys appear on our CD and we can't thank Steve Brown enough for arranging all this! This is, without a doubt, the best record we have recorded and can't wait to have the masses hear what we have created!"

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Light It Up
02. The Other Thief
03. Blink
04. Do What You Believe
05. Man vs. Mother Nature
06. Treading On Serpents
07. Uncle Sam
08. Every Reason To Believe
09. Wrestling With God
10. Best Time You Never Had

Commented Murr: "With 'Light It Up', we wanted everything bigger and louder! The album features big guitars, big hooks, big vocals, and the thing that makes a LIBERTY N' JUSTICE project... big names! This is the most commercial sounding record we have ever released and I promise this record rocks!!"

The project is being produced by Vic Rivera, Steve Brown of TRIXTER, Mike Layne and Stephen Chesney.

"Light It Up" is scheduled for a January 2010 release via Retroactive Records.
