DERANGED Pull Out Of European Tour With NATRON, GOD DETHRONED Step In

December 23, 2005

Swedish gore death masters DERANGED have cancelled their previously announced European trek with Italy's NATRON after their guitarist "coudn't get permission from his job" to leave for the tour, according to a posting on NATRON's web site. "With almost all gigs already confimed, getting over a first moment of dismay, we quickly contacted other bands and luckily Dutch Metal Blade artists, GOD DETHRONED, offered to headline this tour," NATRON write. "Of course this would mean a little rescheduling of the tour dates in the next weeks, so everybody stay tuned. All promoters are more than welcome to get in touch to book this new package at [email protected]!"

As previously reported, DERANGED will enter Berno Studios in Malmö, Sweden in January to begin recording ther new album, "Obscenities in B Flat", due on March 27, 2006 via Listenable Records. The album will contain the following tracks, among others: "Alive...Swarming with Flies", "Body Fluids from Unknown Source" and "Long Live the New Flesh".

DERANGED have announced that they have been confirmed for next year's Fuck the Commerce festival in Germany. DERANGED — who performed at the first Fuck the Commerce festival in 1997 — will be one of the few bands that have played the annual event more than once.
