DERANGED To Cut New Demo This Weekend

April 25, 2007

Swedish gore death masters DERANGED will enter a small local recording studio this weekend to "cut a demo" for all of the songs that will be featured on the band's next full-length album, entitled "The Red Light Murder Case".

Commented drummer Rikard Wermén: "It'll just be a quick and pretty rough recording. Basically something for Martin (vocals) and I to have when working on the lyrics... There's all in all 10 tracks and as it feels now, they are all strong and will most likely end up on the CD."

DERANGED recently inked a deal with Regain Records following its split with the Listenable label. The group will enter the studio in August to begin recording its "The Red Light Murder Case" for a November 2007 release. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Death Walks on High Heels", "Strip Nude for your Killer", "Watch Me When I Kill", "Too Young Too Die", "The Killer Wore Black Gloves", "So Sweet So Dead" and "The Red Light Murderess".

Wermén previously stated about the upcoming album, "It is the best musical work we have so far accomplished under the name DERANGED. It's brutal and insane, and will hopefully leave you dead with a broken neck in the pit."

DERANGED has made the lyrics to its last album, "Obscenities in B Flat" (2006),available via the band's MySpace page.
