DESTRUCTION Cancel UK Tour

German thrashers DESTRUCTION have officially cancelled their participation in the "Hell Comes To The UK" tour with KREATOR due to a broken hand suffered by bassist/vocalist Schmier. The band hope to make up the dates in early 2003.

"[The members of DESTRUCTION] feel terribly bad about the circumstances: 'Schmier's hand is fucked big time' and 'We feel sorry, we are totally disappointed, too, but it's really impossible to play a real DESTRUCTION show' were the first reactions out of the bands camp," reads a message on the band's web site.

DESTRUCTION's tour of Australia, which is scheduled to kick off on Nov. 8 in Sydney, will go ahead as planned.
