DEVILDRIVER Going 'Straight To Hell'
July 12, 2003DEVILDRIVER (formerly DEATHRIDE),the new Santa Barbara, California-based project featuring ex-COAL CHAMBER frontman Dez Fafara, have set "Straight To Hell" as the title for their much-anticipated debut album, due this fall through Roadrunner Records.
The band, whose sound is being described as "much heavier" than that of COAL CHAMBER and featuring "more technical" musicianship than that found in Fafara's former band, are currently laying down the final overdubs for the album with producer Ross Hogarth (COAL CHAMBER, MÖTLEY CRÜE, FASTER PUSSYCAT) before beginning to mix the effort.
DEVILDRIVER will team up with DANZIG and SUPERJOINT RITUAL for the fall 2003 installment of the "Blackest Of The Black" tour, tentatively set to kick off in early October.
