DIESEL MACHINE Bassist In Critical Condition After Accident

August 28, 2002

DIESEL MACHINE bassist Rich Gonzales is in critical-but-stable condition at a Los Angeles hospital after broadsiding a car while riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle last Saturday.

"[A car pulled out in front of him and] Rich had no time to react," stated DIESEL MACHINE frontman AJ Cavalier. "He is in critical but stable condition. He was in a coma for two days. He still is in critical condition and it will be 7-10 days before we know how his condition is going to be. It is a tragic thing for this thing to happen."

In addition to Gonzales and Cavalier, DIESEL MACHINE feature in their ranks HALFORD guitarist Patrick Lachman and GLENN HUGHES/ULI JON ROTH drummer Shane Gaalaas.
