DIVINE HERESY: Montreal Footage Available

May 15, 2008

Fan-filmed video footage of DIVINE HERESY's fourth concert with vocalist Jake Veredika former lead singer of the Maryland-based metal band PERIPHERY which took place this past Tuesday (May 13) at the Medley in Montreal, Quebec, Canada can be viewed below (courtesy of "Empathydenied").

As BLABBERMOUTH.NETreported on May 10, Jake Veredika has been recruited as the temporary replacement for former DIVINE HERESY vocalist Tommy Cummings, who was dismissed from the group last month.

While a possibility exists that Veredika will join DIVINE HERESY as the permanent replacement for Cummings, guitarist Dino Cazares (ex-FEAR FACTORY) told BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the band won't make that decision until after its current "Tyranny And Bloodshred 2008" North American tour with ARCH ENEMY, DARK TRANQUILLITY and FIREWIND wraps at the end of May.

In other news, Cazares who recently married girlfriend Jennifer (MySpace page) is one of several musicians who appear in "Rock N' Porn", a just-released adult film starring numerous large-breasted porn stars, including Elizabeth Starr and Summer Cummings. "You're just have to wait and see what I do in the film," he told Headbanger's Blog. "I know people are going, 'Oh, I don't want to see Dino fucking on film.' It'll be one of those things where you put your hand on your face while you're looking through your fingers."

A spokesperson for Starr Productions told the Headbanger's Blog the guitarist does not have sex in the movie, which also features STATIC-X bassist Tony Campos, PRETTY BOY FLOYD, ENUFF Z'NUFF, JB Frank of KINGDOM COME, Joey Image of the MISFITS, at Stacy Starr of THE ZEROS.

DIVINE HERESY's debut album, "Bleed the Fifth", has sold more than 20,000 copies in the United States since its August 2007 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD was released in Japan with an exclusive bonus track, "Purity Defiled".
