DOWNLORD Postpones U.S. Tour
December 28, 2006DOWNLORD, the Danish death metal band featuring ex-BOLT THROWER/BENEDICTION vocalist Dave Ingram and former members of INIQUITY, DAEMON, and SUPERFICIAL, has been forced to postpone its previously announced U.S. tour in support of the band's debut album, "Random Dictionary of the Damned". The trek, which was set to take place next spring, has been postponed due to issues with the booking agency that had been booking the tour. DOWNLORD is currently looking to reschedule the tour for the summer of 2007. NECRODEMON and CLOUDS TURNED BLACK, the other bands scheduled to play the U.S. tour, are planning on playing a minimum of two weeks of the trek. Some of those dates are currently available via NECRODEMON's MySpace page.
As previously reported, Open Grave Records has posted a TV commercial for DOWNLORD's "Random Dictionary of the Damned", at www.opengraverecords.com. The ad was produced by horror movie director Richard Chandler.
"Random Dictionary of the Damned" is due out January 30 on Open Grave Records.
