DRAGONFORCE Enter BILLBOARD Chart At 103
June 28, 2006U.K. power metallers DRAGONFORCE sold almost 10,000 copies of their third album, "Inhuman Rampage", in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 103 on next week's The Billboard 200 chart. This is a remarkable achievement for this melodic metal act whose main-stage opening slot on this year's Ozzfest is scheduled to kick off tomorrow (June 29) in Seattle, Washington.
The follow-up to 2004's "Sonic Firestorm", "Inhuman Rampage" was recorded at Thin Ice Studios in Virginia Water (Surrey) and guitarist Herman Li's own studio in West London between April and September, while production duties were shared between Li, fellow axeman Sam Totman and keyboard player Vadim Pruzhanov.
"Inhuman Rampage" was issued in Europe in January. The American version of the CD features the video for "Through the Fire and Flames" as a bonus.
