DREAM THEATER: Fall European Tour Dates Announced

DREAM THEATER have announced the first batch of confirmed shows for the European fall leg of the "Octavarium World Tour 2005/2006". All shows will be "An Evening With DREAM THEATER" (no opening act and two sets with an intermission). The dates are as follows:

Sep. 27 - Helsinki, FIN - Ice Hall
Sep. 29 - Stockholm, SWE - Hovet
Sep. 30 - Oslo, NOR - Spektrum

Many more dates will be confirmed soon.

As previously reported, audio samples of seven of the eight tracks from the upcoming DREAM THEATER album, "Octavarium", have been posted online at Bol.de (scroll down to the "Hörproben" section). The CD is scheduled for release on June 7 via Atlantic Records.

DREAM THEATER began writing and recording their latest album last November at the Hit Factory studios in New York City. The follow-up to 2003's "Train of Thought" will hold the distinction of being the very last album ever recorded at the world-famous recording facility.
