DROWNING POOL And EXIES Hitting Road Together

Launch Radio Networks reports: DROWNING POOL and THE EXIES will team up for a series of tour dates together, beginning on August 12 in Englewood, Colorado and continuing through August 27 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. THE EXIES recently released their new album, "A Modern Way of Living With the Truth", and will also appear on some dates with the Bad Boys of Rock tour, also featuring BUCKCHERRY, HINDER and PAPA ROACH. Meanwhile, DROWNING POOL issues its new effort, "Full Circle", on August 7.

DROWNING POOL unveiled the video for its new single, "Soldiers", last week and launched a web site called thisisforthesoldiers.org. The Texas-based band is campaigning to urge Congress to expand health care coverage for U.S. soldiers returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

DROWNING POOL will begin a stretch of dates on its own this Friday (July 13) in Palatine, Illinois. 50 cents of each ticket sale from the trek will be donated to IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America),with another 50 cents going to the USO.
