Drum Kit Once Owned By QUEENSRŸCHE's SCOTT ROCKENFIELD Available For Purchase

An old Pearl drum kit that was once purportedly owned by QUEENSRŸCHE drummer Scott Rockenfield is available for purchase on Craig's List for $1,500. The seller writes: "This is a set previously owned and played by Scott Rockenfield of QUEENSRŸCHE. If you check their early albums you'll see the same artwork as on this set. I got this set from a drummer that used take lessons from Scott and Scott confirmed with me that he did the paint himself. The 18" floor tom would need a new paint to match, as the guy I got the set from was ready to repaint the whole kit. I know someone that will airbrush the 18" floor tom for $100, but I'm selling as is. Comes with high hat, ride, snare, stool."

Due in April 2009 via Rhino, QUEENSRŸCHE's twelfth studio album, "American Soldier", is a concept effort which finds the band once again tackling some heavy subject matter, this time focusing on telling the story of war from a firsthand perspective. Singer and chief songwriter Geoff Tate has spent the last few years conducting extensive interviews with veterans and has crafted their thoughts into this epic tale. "American Soldier" examines American wars from World War II through Iraq from the viewpoint of those in the trenches and on the frontlines. Following the album's release, QUEENSRŸCHE plans to present tracks from the album live on an extensive spring tour of the U.S., with international dates to follow later in 2009. The first date of the tour will be a hometown gig at Seattle's Snoqualmie Casino on April 16.

Other songtitles set to appear on "American Soldier" include "Unafraid", "100 Mile Stare", "At Thirty Thousand Feet", "Man Down" and "Remember Me".
