DUSKMACHINE To Enter Studio In October

Guitarist Nikolai Wurk of DUSKMACHINE, the Canadian/German thrash metal band featuring PRIMAL FEAR/ex-ANNIHILATOR drummer Randy Black and former ANNIHILATOR bassist Russell Bergquist, has issued the following update:

"I just wanted to give you a quick info about the status of our next album: so far, we have 13 tracks that we will record, not sure if all of them will make it onto the album. The mood is good, we're getting excited slowly now that the recording date is getting closer. Also, we're pretty happy with the material, the final result should be a huge step up, compared to [the DUSKMACHINE debut album] 'The Final Fall' [2005]. No concept this time — at least I hope, haha. We hope to be able to start the drum recordings sometime in October, then guitars, bass, vocals, add. stuff, editing, mixing etc.... It will still take a while, but after all this time I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel."

DUSKMACHINE last fall announced the addition of singer Mirko Prietzsch to the group's ranks.

The group's debut album, "The Final Fall", was released in November 2005 through Twilight in Germany.
