DYNAMO OPEN AIR 2002: "No Stars, Just Talent"

March 31, 2002

The organizers of the legendary Dutch metal festival Dynamo Open Air have finally confirmed via an official statement that plans are afoot for a one-day version of the festival to be held on Sunday, July 14th at sports park Boshoven in the town of Weert, situated 20 km south of Eindhoven. Around 16 bands will perform on two stages, with the focus being on up and coming acts rather than big names. According to the statement, we have decided to fall back on our old formula of 'No Stars, Just Talent'. Confirmed bands so far include WITHIN TEMPTATION, OPETH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, FINNTROLL, PAIN OF SALVATION, and PETER PAN SPEEDROCK. Tickets will cost 30 euros and pre-sales in Holland start on April 13th.
