November 9, 2005

Frontman Voldamares of the Canadian epic black metal band ECLIPSE ETERNAL has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"Hail! We will be performing our acts of carnage once again in Montreal on Nov. 11 at Club Saphir alongside the mighty black metal horde that is AVERSE SEFIRA. We will then conquer Trois Rivieres Metalfest on Sat. Nov. 12 alongside BEHEMOTH, AVERSE SEFIRA, NECRONOMICON, NEURAXIS, HORIFIXION ect. Come early as we are the first band on. Then we will be invading Ottawa with EXHUMED, AVERSE SEFIRA and FUCK THE FACTS on Sunday Nov. 13. We look forward to meeting you all in combat. Hail! Ave Lucifer! Ave Chaos!"

ECLIPSE ETERNAL's debut album, "Reign of the Unholy Blackened Empire", was released last year via Galy Records. The CD was produced by Glen Drover (MEGADETH, EIDOLON) and was mastered by Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND). The band are currently working on the follow-up effort, tentatively due next year. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Birth of a New Age", "A Knife to the Throat of Life", "The Approaching Storm", "Nihilistic Contempt for Optimism", "To Take Pleasure in Pain and Revel in Suffering" and "Superiority Complex".
