EDGUY Working On South American Tour

July 21, 2006

EDGUY frontman Tobias Sammet has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"We've just come back from the Czech Republic and I am still speechless. It was unbelievable, well over 25,000 crazy people from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Germany, Scotland and even Sweden made this a crazy night for us.

"So, you wanna know what's up in EDGUY land!? We are playing concerts and relaxing in between. Our agency is working on a tour of South America but don't ask me where exactly and when it will happen. The answer to the question 'When will you play our country?' is: If there is a possibility, we will come. And if it's going to be confirmed you'll read it here! Our management is working hard to make it happen.

"If you got anymore questions, our webmaster is going to relaunch my website, www.tobiassammet.com, and there is going to be a section where we can talk to each other. It's going to be launched one of these days, we'll let you know.

"See you all at the Earthshaker Fest."

EDGUY are continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "Rocket Ride", which entered the German national album chart at position No. 8 upon its release in late January. The CD also came in at No. 8 in Sweden, No. 25 in Finland, No. 32 in Hungary, No. 48 in Japan, No. 50 in Switzerland, No. 50 in Austria, No. 79 in Norway and No. 81 in Italy.
