ELEVEN's NATASHA SHNEIDER Dies Of Cancer
July 2, 2008Bilboard.com reports that ELEVEN vocalist Natasha Shneider, who was also a one-time member of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, died today (July 2) of cancer. The age of artist, who was born in Moscow, is unknown.
Shneider, her husband Alain Johannes and Jack Irons formed ELEVEN in 1990 following the latter's departure from the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. The rock group released five albums, the best known of which was a 1993 self-titled affair for Hollywood Records.
A PayPal fund has been set up to defray costs associated with Shneider's medical care.
