EMBRAZE: Recording Update
August 24, 2005EMBRAZE, the Finnish band featuring FOR MY PAIN… guitarist Lauri Tuohimaa, entered Studio 23 in Oulu, Finland in early August to begin recording their new album, tentatively due in early 2006. 11 songs are being recorded for the follow-up to 2002's "Katharsis" (Mastervox Records). "The new material is more direct and in-your-face than our earlier stuff, not forgetting the familiar EMBRAZE sound, of course," the band write in a statement. "The vocals will concentrate more on a clean style of singing."
Regarding the recording process for the new album, the band write on their web site, "Last week's work filled days at Studio 23 have given us the results we'd been hoping for. The guitar tracks have now been laid down with the exception of a few solos and acoustic bits! Next to be locked up in the studio is Olli-Pekka, which means it's time to record the bass."
