ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER, GRAVE Tour Cancelled

The previously announced ENTOMBED / DISMEMBER / GRAVE / THE ABSENCE North American tour, which was scheduled to take place December 1-16, is now officially cancelled. "We worked hard on this tour, but unfortunately the headliner, ENTOMBED, will not be able to make the tour for December," a representative for Thunderdome Touring writes in a statement sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET.

ENTOMBED's "When In Sodom" EP was released earlier in the year in Europe. A new full-length effort, "Serpent Saints", was recorded at Soundland studio in Upplands Väsby, Sweden and is scheduled for release in early 2007. The CD is the group's first without the contributions of guitarist Uffe Cederlund, who left the band in September 2005.

As previously reported, drummer Peter Stjärnvind left ENTOMBED in order to concentrate on his membership in the Swedish cult act NIFELHEIM. He has since been replaced in ENTOMBED by Olle Dahlstedt (ALPHA SAFARI, ex-MISERY LOVES CO.). Stjärnvind and his wife recently welcomed their first child, a daughter.
