EPICA Returning To Israel In December
October 15, 2008According to Ynetnews.com, Dutch female-fronted symphonic metal band EPICA will return to Israel for a December 11 gig at Tel Aviv's Barby club. The band performed in Tel Aviv about two years ago, filling the club to the brim.
This time the group will arrive in the Jewish state after a long European tour, which is scheduled to conclude at the end of November.
The first ticket buyers will be able to get a ticket for the reduced price of NIS 139 (about $38.5) at the Metal Shop in Tel Aviv. The person behind the band's arrival is producer Lior Kameli.
In an interview with Ynet conducted during the band's previous visit to Israel, EPICA singer Simone Simons said that one of her most favorite female singers of all times was none other than late Israeli performer Ofra Haza.
"She has a great voice and I really love her singing style," Simons said. "It really touches me and I love listening to her."
