Ex-IF HOPE DIES Guitarist Launches Record Label; First Release Announced
September 23, 2006Ex-IF HOPE DIES guitar player Thad Jackson has formed a new record label called Mascaret Records. The company's first release will be a four-song EP from the Minneapolis band EVEREST, which includes a couple of former members of NEHEMIAH (Uprising Records). "Where Earth Meets the Sky" will also include a bonus video of the group's performance at this year's Robot Mosh Fest.
EVEREST describes itself as an "awesome-metal" band whose style "stems from the fact that we write the music we want to hear and what we love to play. Flowing from brutal to epic to beautiful to ridiculous (and sometimes combining all four),'Where Earth Meets the Sky' EP is sure to have a little something for fans of all sub-genres of metal."
