Ex-SKYCLAD Singer MARTIN WALKYIER Focuses On THE CLAN DESTINED

May 20, 2004

Former SKYCLAD/SABBAT frontman Martin Walkyier has posted the following message on his official web site:

"The Gathering Clan!

"Greetings to you my loyal Sisters and Brothers! I hope that these words find you in good health, and that 2004 is proving to be a most joyous and productive year for all? Sorry that it has been such a long time since we've updated the pages of this website, the last few months have been an absolute maelstrom of positive chaos and hectic creativity. Rest assured that we have not been idle for a single moment, and we are working day and night on our brand-new project THE CLAN DESTINED. Thanks for all your countless supportive emails. I read each and every one of them, but sadly do not have the time to send any personal replies at the moment.

"Iscariah (ex-IMMORTAL) is now nicely settled here in Nottingham with his young family, and we are busy composing new material and recruiting the best (and nicest) musicians the world has to offer for our forthcoming Pagan collaboration. We currently have eight songs written, three of which we have recorded as an extremely rough demo to show all our potential collaborators exactly what we have in mind. The response so far has been outstanding from the carefully selected few who've heard THE CLAN DESTINED demo material. Once the line-up is complete we'll enter the studio and properly record some tracks for general release to all you loyal heathen hordes out there who have patiently waited for such a long time. We would not insult your intelligence by offering you less than the best, and as you all will hopefully understand my friends this takes time and lots of careful preparation. A brand-new website is currently under construction, where you will receive all the latest news on TCD, get the first opportunity to hear the new songs and buy exclusive merchandise at discount prices.

"THE CLAN DESTINED is intended as far more than just an ordinary Heavy Metal band. It will eventually blossom into a unique, international gathering of like-minded freethinkers. We are keen that each and every one of you should become deeply involved with what we're trying to achieve.

"Sorry once again for being AWOL the last months. Things are now moving forward at a rapid pace, and I promise that you will be hearing much more from myself and THE CLAN DESTINED very soon indeed.

"I Am Because We Are!"
