EXSECRATUS Signs With VIOLENT JOURNEY RECORDS

Finnish metal band EXSECRATUS has inked a deal with Violent Journey Records. According to a press release, "These young masters of melodic metal combine influences from band like CHILDREN OF BODOM, SONATA ARCTICA, NIGHTWISH, DIMMU BORGIR and lots and lots of other big names. The male-female vocal combos work together like a machine, as well as the melodies and heart pounding riffs compel the listeners to bang their heads."

EXSECRATUS, who toured with ENSIFERUM in early 2007, will release its debut album, "Tainted Dreams", in the fall. The projected track listing for the effort is as follows:
