FATHER BEFOULED: Upcoming Releases Detailed

December 8, 2008

Chicago/Georgia-based death metallers FATHER BEFOULED have issued the following update:

"After almost a year of spreading the word, we have finally aligned with Carnal Sadist Productions for the release of the FATHER BEFOULED/DECREPITAPH split 7". This slab of horrific wax will be unleashed sometime in the spring.

"In the spirit of the failed INCANTATION/AMORPHIS split of yesteryear, we have teamed up with New Jersey's HELCARAXE for a full-length split of new material. Entitled 'Ruination of the Heavenly Communion', this alliance shall go down as a profane attack on the will of the savior. Unfurled again by Enucleation Records, this union will be available sometime in the late spring.

"Other news: We have a split 7" coming out soon that we cannot talk about yet. Details are still not finalized.

"We are looking to start playing some more shows around early spring. Possibly a mini-tour. Help us out if you think you can.

"We are working on vinyl deals for both 'Profano ad Regnum' and 'Obscurus Nex Cultus'. Hopefully these will work out."

FATHER BEFOULED released its debut mini-CD, "Profano ad Regnum", earlier in the year via Enucleation Records. The EP contains five tracks of "unholy, graceless death metal influenced by the olden scene; slow, crushing doom, bellowing death roars and technical blasting," according to a press release. The group's full-length debut, "Obscurus Nex Cultus", followed in the late spring via France's Gasmask Productions.
