FEAR FACTORY, SEX PISTOLS Members To Play Soccer For Charity
February 17, 2009Christian Olde Wolbers (FEAR FACTORY, ARKAEA) and Steve Jones (SEX PISTOLS) are among the musicians who will play for Hollywood United — a star-studded soccer club featuring players from the entertainment and music industry — on April 11 at the first annual "Setanta Cup" indoor soccer tournament at the Field House at Chelsea Piers in New York City. This all-day soccer festival will feature tournaments for youth and adult teams, with proceeds from team registration fees, merchandise sales and raffles going to the nonprofit organization Hollywood Unites for Haiti and the Chelsea Piers Scholarship Fund. During the day, prizes will be raffled and commemorative merchandise will be for sale, with proceeds going to Hollywood Unites For Haiti (HUFH). HUFH is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote sports and cultural activities for the underprivileged youth of Haiti.
