Former DARK THE SUNS Keyboardist Returns To Band As Guitarist

Former DARK THE SUNS keyboardist Juha Kokkonen has rejoined the Jyväskylä, Finland-based melodic metal band as its second guitarist.

DARK THE SUNS recently made an Internet-only single, "Rimed With Frost", available for download at this location. The track comes off the band's second full-length album, "All Ends in Silence", which is scheduled for release this spring via Firebox Records. According to the group, "We recorded guitars and keyboards in our home studio and drums, bass and vocals were recorded in Studio Watercastle. The whole album [was] also mixed in Watercastle by Arttu Sarvanne and mastered in Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila."

"The Dead End", the latest mini-CD from DARK THE SUNS, entered the official chart in the band's home country at position No. 16. The effort was recorded by Juha Kokkonen at Nightmare Workshop and Arttu Sarvanne at Studio Watercastle. It was mixed by Arttu Sarvanne and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios.

DARK THE SUNS' debut album, "In Darkness Comes Beauty", was released in 2007 via Firebox Records.
