Former EXODUS Singer ZETRO SOUZA Joins TENET

STRAPPING YOUNG LAD/ZIMMERS HOLE guitarist Jed Simon has issued the following update on his TENET project:

"After how many times? I feel like the kid who keeps cryin' wolf...this has been a tough MF to get off the ground. Life has a way of throwing those mean fuckin' curve balls, so we keep our heads high, and soldier on.

"And I'm a happy man at being able to say this [the debut TENET album, 'Sovereign'] will be done, and out, by the end of the year, or in the very early new year, depending on Century Media's release schedule.

"So...with that shit outa the way, I would like to welcome to the TENET family Zetro 'Steve' Souza [formerly of EXODUS] on vocals!! How fuckin' cool is that? We have been looking for someone who fit the bill for some time now, and when I heard Zetro tear up a couple tracks, I knew he was the man. I don't need to talk about his past, if you're metal, you know the deal. He's a pure metal veteran, and we welcome him with arms open wide. He brings to the table that final element that we have been looking for...he is a ferocious singer and that voice is pure shred.

"Welcome, brother!

"So that's it man, I'll be in San Francisco in a few weeks while Zet tracks his stuff...and I'm very excited. It's gonna be a killer album...if I do say so myself. Thanks to so many of you who have kept in touch, and keep asking about this album, it means a lot to me. Thank you all. Let's get it goin'!"

TENET's debut album, "Sovereign", will also feature Gene Hoglan (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DARK ANGEL, DEATH, TESTAMENT).

Simon last year uploaded three demo tracks from his TENET project at the official TENET MySpace page. Check out the songs "Indulge Me", "Unnameable" and "Crown of Thorns" at this location.
