Former FORBIDDEN, GRIP INC., VICIOUS RUMORS Members Join Forces In LORENZO

July 13, 2009

LORENZO, the modern rock band featuring vocalist Marko Lorenzo, bassist Jason VieBrooks (GRIP INC., HEATHEN),drummer Steve Jacobs (FORBIDDEN, MANMADEGOD) and guitarist Ira Black (VICIOUS RUMORS, LIZZY BORDEN, HEATHEN, METAL CHURCH),made its live debut opening for SLAUGHTER On June 19, 2009 at the Riverstar Entertainment Complex in Cincinnati, Ohio. The next day, LORENZO was featured on the "MMA Big Show", which is a mixed martial arts fighting event, produced by Golliath Entertainment and syndicated to over 80 million homes by Time Warner in the U.S. and Europe. The group has since been named "the official 'MMA Big Show' band" and will perform at every "Big Show", including the upcoming fighting event on July 25 at Belterra Casino in Indiana. Furthermore, LORENZO's track "Nothin Left To Talk About" is being used as the opening theme song of the "Big Show" (see clip below).

LORENZO, whose third show was opening for the STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on July 8 at the sold-out PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati, is recording a CD's worth of material and has already received interest from labels, managers and booking agents. LORENZO is still focused on finishing the material on its own and thus deciding its own future.
