Former JANE'S ADDICTION Guitarist DAVE NAVARRO To Honor HEART On VH1's 'Decades Rock Live!'

Former JANE'S ADDICTION/RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist Dave Navarro has been confirmed as one of the performers at the the taping of a new episode of VH1 Classic's "Decades Rock Live!". The show that focuses on classic rockers HEART will be taped at the Trump Taj Mahal Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ on February 17, 2006. A spring air date is expected. Also scheduled to appear are the surviving members of ALICE IN CHAINS and GRETCHEN WILSON.

Regarding his appearance on the program, Navarro stated in a Dec. 29 posting on his official web site, " I only know that I have accepted the invitation to participate. As for my role, that remains to be seen."

The "Decades Rock Live!" series is a collection of tributes to artists who have shaped and influenced music over the past several decades, generally including artists the guest of honor picks as influences and more modern acts that have been influenced by the honoree.
