Former MARDUK Bassist Performs With ENSLAVED In Texas; Video Available

December 5, 2007

Former MARDUK bassist B.War (a.k.a. Roger "Bogge" Svensson) joined Norwegian black metallers ENSLAVED on stage for one song during their November 30, 2007 concert at The White Rabbit in San Antonio, TX. Watch fan-filmed video footage of the performance below.

In other B.War-related news, the bassist has been in contact with Par Thornell (ALLEGIANCE; Sweden) and Mikael Algrem (ALLEGIANCE, SIDEBURNS; Sweden) and writing material for an upcoming ALLEGIANCE recording. However, due to personal commitments, the band is not rushing into anything yet. Currently they have a MySpace page where old tunes have been uploaded. Additionally, ALLEGIANCE will be looking for a replacement for Fredrik Andersson (ex-MARDUK drummer). B.War is also working on a project with bassist Nick Rocha of the Los Angeles-based horror/black metal band DIABOLOS. Meanwhile, B.War's collaboration with former DREAMS OF DAMNATION/DARK ANGEL guitarist Jim Durkin did not become a reality because vocalist Legion (a.k.a. Erik Hagsted; DEVIAN, ex-MARDUK) was unable to move to the States. Also, personal priorities at the time made it impossible for them to get together.
