Former OZZY OSBOURNE Keyboardist Rocks Fort

October 22, 2008

According to The Press and Journal, John Sinclair — who has spent most of his last 17 years on the road as keyboard player for OZZY OSBOURNE (from 1986 to 2003) — is heading a three-day Rock School event at Fort William's Nevis Centre in Lochaber, Scotland, on behalf of Careers Scotland. Teenagers from 13 to 18 are getting involved in a variety of workshops related to the music industry, including performance, song writing, music production and stage craft.

The event began yesterday and continues until Thursday evening, when there will be a free live show.

Sinclair joined Ozzy's band in 1986 and toured and recorded with him until 2003 —apart from a brief stint with THE CULT in the early '90s, during which time he toured worldwide and appeared on the band's 1993 "Live at the Marquee" album. His recording and co-writing credits with Ozzy include "No Rest for the Wicked" (1987),"No More Tears" (1990) and the more recent Japanese "Live at the Budokan" CD/DVD (2002).
