Former SOILWORK/CHIMAIRA Drummer Joins Australia's GRETCHEN LEWIS

February 17, 2009

Swedish drummer Richard Evensand (ex-THERION, SOILWORK, CHIMAIRA),who is currently based in Victoria, Australia, has joined the Aussie alternative/rock outfit GRETCHEN LEWIS. He says, "It was only one week ago I went to the audition for the drummer spot, I'm glad I did. The band is different from a lot of things I've done in the past, which was exactly what I was looking for. The guys/girl have a presence and attitude in their music that will make any venue shake and crumble, and they're a great crew to work with.

"For all you metalheads into DEMONOID, do not despair. I'm still a member of this band, and will continue to be so, but it's a different situation with my brothers in the North.

"For all the people into great music and live show, come to a gig with GRETCHEN LEWIS; you will NOT be disapointed."
