Former SORTILEGE Singer Performs At KEEP IT TRUE Festival; More Video Available

May 4, 2009

Visions In Fear has uploaded multi-camera video footage of ZOUILLE & FRIENDS, the project featuring former SORTILEGE singer Christian "Zouille" Augustin, performing the SORTILEGE classic "D'ailleurs" at the Keep It True XII festival, which was held April 24-25, 2009 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. Watch the clip below.

ZOUILLE & FRIENDS is:

Christian "Zouille" Augustin (ex-SORTILEGE) - Lead Vocals
Renaud Hantson (FURIOUS ZOO, SATAN JOKERS) - Drums/Vocals
Olivier Spitzer (STATORS, REBEL, SATAN JOKERS) - Rhythm Guitar
Michael Zurita (BIG BEN, TAÏ PHONG, SATAN JOKERS) - Lead Guitar
Pascal Mulot (PATRICK RONDAT, TRIPLE-FX, SATAN JOKERS) - Bass

Regarding the possibility of a full-fledged SORTILEGE reunion, Augustin and Hantson's MySpace page previously released the following statement:

"SORTILEGE is impossible to bring back together for some different reasons and Christian's idea is not to play again with the original members. The band that perform[ed] on the Keep It True festival [was]the creme de la creme of the actual French metal/hard rock scene. Nobody has to forget that the last show of Zouille has been performed a long time ago and it's obvious that Hantson is the only musical partner to bring him back on stage. It may not be the only or last performance for Zouille/Hantson project. Maybe the boys will release an album next year with new material and also including titles of the Keep It True's performance. Details and eventual new concerts dates will be anounced at Zouille/Hantson's MySpace. Every other shit you hear are rumours and are not confirmed by Christian, Renaud and the band."
