Former VAN HALEN Frontman Jams With Tribute Band

September 16, 2002

Former VAN HALEN/EXTREME frontman Gary Cherone joined VAN HALEN tribute band DIVER DOWN on stage for a rendition of "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" during the group's performance at club Good Times in Somerville, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 14th.

Based in Massachusetts, DIVER DOWN are the longest-running, and perhaps the first, VAN HALEN tribute band, established in 1983. Over the years, the group have toured up and down the East Coast and even performed at the 1999 David Lee Roth convention in New York City.
