Former VICTIMS OF INTERNAL DECAY Members Resurface In DOMESTICIDE

March 21, 2007

Two former members of Oregon death/grind kings VICTIMS OF INTERNAL DECAY, who broke up in 1996, have resurfaced with a new death/grind project called DOMESTICIDE. Their new CD, entitled "Good is Dead" [sic], is available via the group's MySpace page (along with streaming samples) for $6.

Former VOID guitarist Terry Geil and drummer Pat Wombacher started DOMESTICIDE in 2003. According to a press release, the group's music "will please any fans of their former band, [as well as] fans of NAPALM DEATH, CARCASS, DEATH, and PHOBIA, [while] also incorporating more grind and some newer death metal-style leanings."

DOMESTICIDE is:

Ryan Rook - Guitars
Terry Geil (ex-VOID) - Guitars, Vocals
Kevin Warren - Bass, Vocals
Pat Wombacher (ex-VOID) - Drums

"Good is Dead" was engineered and recorded between July 21 and November 1, 2006 in Eugene, Oregon. The CD features guest vocals by Paula Rhoads of VEXIUM on "Sores".

DOMESTICIDE has the following gigs lined up in Oregon in April:

Apr 13 - Rock-n-Roll Pizza - Portland, Oregon
Apr 28 - John Henry's - Eugene, Oregon

VICTIMS OF INTERNAL DECAY released its self-titled CD in 1992 on the now-defunct Red Light Records label. In 1996 they recorded an unreleased demo, "Resin 67 Sessions", and broke up soon after.
