FUELBLOODED Announces New Singer

September 16, 2006

Dutch melodic death/thrash act FUELBLOODED (formerly SACRAMENTAL SACHEM) has announced the addition of singer Peter Brinkman (ex-AURA, SCENARIOII, ZILVER) to the group's ranks. Brinkman joins the group as the replacement for longtime vocalist Vital Welten, who left the band earlier in the week.

Commented the band: "We're very happy we have found a new singer this fast. We've known Peter for a long time from his former bands, and we knew he would be perfect for the job. Now that he took the bait, we can't wait to get this train rolling. This is gonna rock!"

Added Peter: "I'm very happy and proud to join FUELBLOODED, a band that is working really hard to progress in the scene. I hope I can contribute to this and I'm looking forward to singing, growling and screaming [as soon as possible]!"

Peter's first gig with FUELBLOODED will take place on September 30 at the Woerdschok Festival in Woerden. The band is currently writing songs for its sophomore album, which it intends to record around the spring of 2007. FUELBLOODED's debut album was released on Copro Records in March of this year.
