November 9, 2006

Maryland-based rock act FUNNY MONEY, featuring KIX frontman Steve Whiteman and drummer Jimmy Chalfant, will release its long-awaited new CD, entitled "Stick It!", on December 1. The band is also be holding a CD-release party at Ramshead Live! in Baltimore, MD that same night. "We'll be playing most of the material for the new CD that night so please make plans to come celebrate the event with us!" the group writes in a press release.

"Stick It!" was mixed by mega-hit rock producer Beau Hill (RATT, WARRANT, WINGER, ALICE COOPER, etc.) in Los Angeles. "You may also know that Beau produced KIX 'Midnite Dynamite' and so has a friendly history with Jimmy and Steve," the band writes. "While mixing our new CD, Beau took a break and came out to visit us in August to surprise Steve for his birthday."
