GIRLSCHOOL: New Internet-Only Single Now Available

November 21, 2005

Veteran British female hard rockers GIRLSCHOOL have released their first Internet-only single featuring new recordings of "Emergency" (25th Anniversary version) and "London" (2005 version). A donation of all proceeds from "Emergency" will go to the London Air Ambulance fund. If you want to hear a sample of either cut, check out the "Downloads" page of the group's web site.

As previously reported, GIRLSCHOOL will be auctioning one of Kim McAuliffe's guitars in aid of the Essex Air Ambulance Service, according to a posting on the band's web site. More details will be made available soon.

GIRLSCHOOL have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Headbangers Open Air festival, set to take place July 14-15, 2006 in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany. The band are continuing to tour in support of their first-ever live DVD, "Girlschool Live at the Garage", and their 2004 album, "Believe".
