GRIFFEN Signs With HEART OF STEEL RECORDS

January 18, 2009

Heart Of Steel Records has announced the signing of Swedish hard rockers GRIFFEN. The band is currently recording its debut album for a June release.

According to a press release, GRIFFEN's sound is influenced by some classic names of the genre such as RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE and DIO, and it's not far removed from the melodic rock style that can be found on the last few albums from artists like Jorn Lande and Jeff Scott Soto.

GRIFFEN's lineup:

Tomi Peltonen (TORCH) - Guitar
Stefan Törnblom - Guitar
Jörgen Söderberg - Lead Vocals
Kristian Huotari (TORCH) - Drums
Harri Tuovila - Bass
