In other news, PAINMUSEUM's official web site www.painmuseum.com, will debut a new column on April 1 entitled "Battle Tests". This new feature written by Metal Mike will spotlight gear that has been utilized by Metal Mike live or in the studio. In the debut feature, readers can find out Mike's take on Digitech's Tone Driver pedal, Maxon's OD-808 overdrive, Marshall's DSL 100 head, Seymour Duncan's SH-4 pick-up and Jackson's Randy Rhoads guitars. "Battle Tests" follows such previous columns as "Ask Metal Mike" and "Tour Diaries."

Commented Mike: "For the last four months, things have been slighly more quiet for us here in PAINMUSEUM world. I have been attending to other projects, working behind the scenes, and running around in order to finish up, so we can get some touring done with PAINMUSEUM. I'll have more really exciting news to share with all of you very shortly and to answer the big question first, yes, PAINMUSEUM will be doing live dates in 2006. I can not fucking wait. It is then that we'll crush like no other."

Several tracks from PAINMUSEUM's debut album, "Metal For Life" (CMM/Demolition Records),can be previewed at the band's MySpace page.
