HAMMERFALL To Embark On 'Intimate' Tour To Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary

July 18, 2007

Swedish melodic metallers HAMMERFALL have issued the following update:

"In commemoration of HAMMERFALL's ten-year anniversary as a record releasing artist, 'Steel Meets Steen - Ten Years of Glory' will be released on October 12th. The best of-album also features a couple of new songs ['Last Man Standing', 'Restless Soul' and 'HammerFall v1.07'], as well as a rerecording of an old classic. The record will be followed by a very special and intimate tour, beginning on the day of the release. This is what is confirmed as of now:

Oct. 12 - Gloria - Köln, Germany
Oct. 13 - Zeche - Bochum, Germany
Oct. 14 - Rockfabrik - Ludwigsburg, Germany

"There will be an aftershow party with the band at each venue except in Bochum, where the party will be held at the Matrix. Tickets available now. Don't miss this unique opportunity to relive the atmosphere of the early days, and hear some songs that haven't been performed live for year."

"A fitting end to the 'Nights Of Glory' tour is planned for October 27th in FM Mattsson Arena in Mora, Sweden. The bands scheduled to appear all have a connection to Dalarna, the region in which the event is being held. They are:

HAMMERFALL
THE POODLES
SABATON
TRYCKVAG

"Sure to be a great night of music. Check out www.monstersofmora.se for more info as it becomes available."
