October 8, 2005

According to a posting at Deep-Purple.net, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will be issuing a "rockumentary" DVD called "Hard Rock Treasures" on November 21. A short description of the set is as follows: "From Jimmy Page's guitar to Peter Frampton's voice box, discover the whereabouts of rock music's most legendary items. Featuring exclusive interviews with some of the most important rock bands ever, including DEEP PURPLE... and many more. It follows Don Bernstein, Head of Collections for the Hard Rock Cafes on his quest to acquire celebrated items from rock music history — from the owners themselves. Speaking to the legends in their own homes, studios and on the road about their most prized possessions and memories." PURPLE drummer Ian Paice is mentioned as being one of the interviewees.
